2. Course Details
Types of Courses:
Basis Training Limited offers both online and in-person courses facilitated by a trainer.
Course Access and Materials:
Customers can access course materials through:
Screen share
Links to slides, YouTube videos, and online whiteboards
Emailed PDFs
Online Trello board with downloadable PDFs
Provided materials include:
Slides as PDFs
Links to YouTube videos
LinkedIn group with shared content
Notion pages with content
Emails with additional content and exam links
Digital badges via Credly system (optional)
PDF certificates for some courses
Following the training, all resources and additional materials will be emailed, along with relevant exam information if the course is accredited.
3. Payment and Pricing
Pricing:
Courses are priced as a set fee for either the whole course or for individuals to join. Prices are fixed and available on the website and in brochures. VAT is chargeable. There are no additional or ongoing fees.

Card payments via Eventbrite
Invoice to the organisation
Billing and Invoicing:
Clients will receive a quote and provide a Purchase Order, signing a Letter of Engagement or a fuller contract if requested.
Once the course is delivered, an invoice will be issued against their purchase order.
For PayPal and card payments, clients will receive booking and payment confirmation generated by Eventbrite. Basis Training does not process or store any card details for these payments.
4. Refund and Cancellation Policies
Refund Policy:
Courses paid for in advance can be cancelled up to 45 calendar days before the scheduled course date. Beyond 45 days, rescheduling is not allowed.
If cancellation is requested within the permitted timeframe, the course can be rescheduled or an alternative date can be offered.
Cancellation Policy:
30 calendar days’ notice is required to reschedule in-house training courses.
For open courses, 14 calendar days’ notice is required to reschedule to an alternative course or to provide an alternative candidate from their organisation.
Full payment is required if a client or delegate fails to attend all or part of any training.
5. User Conduct and Responsibilities
User Responsibilities:
Users are required to credit Basis Training and use appropriate referencing if reusing materials.
Prohibited Conduct:
Treat all participants with respect and dignity during attendance.
Do not share case studies or stories shared by other delegates without permission.
6. Intellectual Property
Content Ownership:
Basis Training owns all intellectual property rights to the course content.
Usage Rights:
Users may use the content provided but must credit Basis Training and adhere to the usage rights specified.
7. Liability and Disclaimers
Disclaimers:
All content and courses are presented with the best knowledge and intent possible.
Courses may contain references or links to third-party materials that enhance the learning experience.
Limitation of Liability:
The information provided is for educational purposes only and does not guarantee success.
Past delegate feedback and success stories are used for promotional purposes and are not paid for.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Data Collection:
Collected data includes email addresses, job roles, first and second names, types of projects, and issues encountered.
Data Usage:
Email addresses, job roles, and names are used for booking, exams, certification processes, post-course surveys, sharing additional materials, invites to Learning Reviews, and Community of Practices, and billing.
Project-related data is used to tailor content to meet user needs.
Email addresses and names are shared with the Public Sector Transformation Academy for exam facilitation.
Data Protection:
Data is stored securely using Google’s recommended security measures.
Data is also entered into the exam system, Calendy for Digital Badge creation, and protected under Cyber Essential accreditation.
9. Miscellaneous
Governing Law:
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms:
Users will be informed of any changes to these terms and conditions via updates published on the website and included links in any booking confirmation or quote.
